The Christian Chaplain Fellowship began with a simple yet powerful goal to support chaplains in their call to serve others through faith, compassion, and presence.
From the beginning, we have walked alongside chaplains seeking board certification, spiritual discernment, and emotional and pastoral support. As the ministry grew, we recognized a deeper need: not only for professional development, but for a genuine spiritual community where chaplains themselves could be nurtured, encouraged, and strengthened in faith.
In response to this calling, our organization evolved into the Christian Chaplain Fellowship a non-denominational Christian ministry devoted to building up those who serve the people of God. Today, we continue our mission by fostering fellowship, prayer, and growth among chaplains from diverse backgrounds, helping them remain rooted in Christ as they bring His love and presence into the world.
“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11
The mission of the Christian Chaplain Fellowship is to equip, affirm, and support non-denominational Christian chaplains in their call to serve others through compassionate presence, prayer, and spiritual care. Rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ, we provide ordination, endorsement, and fellowship for those ministering in healthcare, hospice, and community settings empowering chaplains to bring hope, comfort, and faith to people of all backgrounds and circumstances.
We envision a community of chaplains who faithfully embody the love of Christ, serving with humility, integrity, and grace wherever people are in need. Guided by the Holy Spirit and grounded in the confession of one Lord, one faith, and one baptism, we strive to see every person encounter God’s peace and presence through compassionate chaplaincy ministry.
“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us.” 2 Corinthians 5:20

We follow Christ’s example of mercy by being present with those who suffer, offering prayer, comfort, and listening hearts. (Matthew 25:35–40 · Romans 12:15)
We hold Scripture as the inspired Word of God, our guide for faith and practice, and the foundation for ethical and spiritual care. (2 Timothy 3:16–17)
In the spirit of the Nicene confession “We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church”, we embrace unity among all believers, welcoming chaplains from diverse Christian traditions who affirm the gospel of Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 4:3–6)
Following the example of Christ who “came not to be served, but to serve,” we commit ourselves to humility, accountability, and excellence in ministry. (Mark 10:45 · Philippians 2:3–5)
We encourage lifelong spiritual formation through prayer, study, mentorship, and fellowship, so that chaplains remain rooted and resilient in their calling.(Colossians 2:6–7)
